How I Began Doing Psychic Readings and Medical Intuition Evaluations
Over the years, many people have asked me how I got started working doing psychic readings and medical intuition evaluations.
Growing up, there were two television shows my family regularly watched. The first was The Amazing Kreskin, featuring The Amazing Kreskin who utilized his ESP (extrasensory perception) to interact with the live studio audience. Kreskin was amazing!
The second show was The Sixth Sense, which featured Gary Collins. He was a college professor who taught parapsychology. In a typical episode, a crime would be committed and he would use his ESP to solve the crime. I was enthralled and decided at an early age that I wanted to have ESP also. Thus began my trek into the world of the psychic phenomena and the paranormal.
One of the things that I believed early on was that if you memorized the tarot, could cast an astrology chart or could determine someone life’s purpose though numerology, then you most certainly would be psychic. Therefore, I studied and studied and studied everything I could about the different types of psychic readings and psychic phenomena with the hope that I would be able to develop my own abilities.
Later on, I learned that individuals who were “enlightened” had psychic abilities as a natural byproduct of their learning. I realized as the years went by and my ongoing exploration into the unknown that I was more enlightened than many of my friends, but accessing information on intuitive levels was still beyond me.

That is until I found the Berkeley Psychic Institute. I signed up right away psychic development training program. It was interesting, because after only 3 weeks into their program I discovered that I had been very psychic my whole life. Little did I know that when we “know” what we are getting for Christmas before unwrapping a gift is a psychic experience or when we make a statement, about something that is supposed to be a secret and you are right on we are also having a psychic moment.
What I realized, after reviewing many odd synchronistic events in my life, was that I had innumerable psychic insights and had written them off as mere coincidences.
Not much after I had completed my psychic development training, I began a private practice. I started off, as I like to say jokingly, as Rita the Psychic Chick. One of the services, in addition to my psychic readings, I offered to clients was energy healing and chakra balancing. It was very natural for me, as part of these sessions, to be able to see inside my client’s bodies and identify health concerns. When I would share these psychic insights with my clients, the first thing they would ask was what they could do about it. Thus began a new chapter in my ongoing evolution.

After much thought and soul searching, I decided to return to school and get a degree as a Naturopath. At the time, I really wasn’t interested in working as a health care provider. I enjoyed talking about relationships and careers and past lives, but it seemed that the people who were drawn to me were individuals who had health concerns.
They say, when you hear the same thing three times you should really pay attention to it. Well it took more than three times to get my attention but I finally move forward. It was a great decision.
It was during my years of study for my Naturopath degree that Carolyn Myss coined the term Medical Intuitive. I knew right away that medical intuition is what I had been doing for years with my clients – assessing their health concerns on intuitive levels. With my added knowledge of herbs, supplement, natural health techniques I was now even more qualified to assist my clients who came to me for help and guidance.
Thus began my work offering clients “medical intuition evaluations” in addition to the psychic readings I had offered in the past. I feel blessed to have been able to help so many people over the years and deeply touched by the life altering changes many of them have made based upon intuitive insights that come to me so naturally. ..
